How do I know you don't keep the high-value cards and never put the packs in the store?
We register every sealed unit before opening it, then publicly account for every pack that comes out. A registered unit that stops progressing stays flagged forever.
Do you sell loose packs from partially opened boxes?
No. Every pack on RipHQ comes from a sealed box or case that we open and register ourselves. We never cherry-pick a few packs or sell leftovers from a partially ripped box—every pack from every box is listed for sale on RipHQ and publicly accounted for.
How do I know which box a pack came from?
The public extraction video shows the pack leave its registered box, receive its label, and get its unique glitter fingerprint. That fingerprint's photo hash is attached to the box's public receipt. The pack video starts by matching the same fingerprint.
How do I know a pack wasn't tampered with before the recorded opening?
Every pack gets a unique random glitter mark that is photographed and hashed during extraction. The pack proof video starts by matching that same mark, so the pack opened on camera is the exact pack that left the registered box. Reproducing the same particle arrangement is practically impossible, even for us.
How do I know extraction happened after registration and the video wasn't replaced?
Extraction is recorded continuously with the unit's registration transaction hash in frame, proving the footage came after registration. We then publish a hash of the uploaded video, so replacing the file would produce a mismatch.
How is it decided which pack I get?
The eligible pack list is committed before the draw. Public drand randomness selects from that list, and the stored proof can be checked again later.
How do I know my digital reveal matches the physical cards?
Each pack has one uninterrupted proof video. Its fingerprint is locked before sale, and your reveal uses the card images derived from that exact recording.
What's actually on the blockchain?
Only digital fingerprints called hashes—not card images, videos, or secret contents. A matching hash proves the file you see is exactly the file we committed to.
What if a recording cuts out or a box gets damaged?
We stop and mark the unit excluded with a written public reason. That exclusion cannot be silently deleted from our registry.
Couldn't you fake a damaged pack when it has a grail?
Exclusions remain public and our exclusion rate is displayed. If an extracted pack is excluded, its contents are photographed and published when the unit resolves. An excluded grail is documented, not hidden.
What happens to packs nobody buys?
They remain publicly accounted for. At the deadline, remaining packs are retired from sale so the sealed unit can reach a final state.
What can't you prove?
No system can prove that unregistered inventory never existed or defeat perfect physical forgery. Our system makes manipulation of registered inventory visible, permanent, and economically self-defeating.
